Dear Prospective Merchant/FRG,

Thank you for your interest in the Lewis Community Spouses Club’s Annual Holiday Market. This year, the Holiday Market will be a two day event and will be held on Friday October 28th and Saturday October 29th from 10am-5pm at the American Lake Conference Center located at 8085 NCO Beach Road, Joint Base Lewis-McChord, WA, 98438.

We are looking forward to a great event! The Lewis Community Spouses Club (LCSC), a non-profit organization, will be sponsoring this event. The LCSC’s mission is to improve the quality of life for military families and the Fort Lewis community. We have given away over $40,000 in Welfare Grants for services and products that benefit our soldiers, veterans and their families residing in the Fort Lewis area. In addition to the Welfare Grants, we also run a low cost lending closet for decorations and an evening gown borrowing closet.

We appreciate your support of the LCSC’s mission. Please read the Information Sheet and complete the attached application for a member of the LCSC Holiday Market committee to review. You will be contacted by email within 7 days of submitting your application and notified of your acceptance into the Holiday Market vendor’s roster. INFORMATION-

PLEASE READ THIS INFORMATION SHEET CAREFULLY and do not hesitate to contact us if you have additional questions concerning the Holiday Market. In order to maintain the high quality of the Holiday Market, the LCSC will review all applicants in a timely manner and notify applicants in writing of their acceptance.

Our intention is to have a well-balanced show, with great variety, that will allow our vendors to maximize their sales possibilities- it is important to LCSC that we are both successful! The LCSC reserves the right to include multiple vendors of the same type.

DIRECT SALES

Direct sales vendors will be accepted on a first-come, first-serve basis and only one per brand will be allowed.

THE LCSC RESERVES THE RIGHT TO ACCEPT OR DENY ANY VENDOR, AT THEIR DISCRETION. ITEMS THAT MAY BE ACCEPTED INCLUDE (BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO)

art, handmade crafts, antiques, specialty clothing items, jewelry, wrought iron works, furniture, collectibles, unique items, bath & body products, all military-related items, pre-packaged baked goods and food items.

DEADLINES FOR THIS APPLICATION

Applications will be accepted until end of day on October 20, 2016. Deadline to cancel and receive your refund will be October 21, 2016.

Because of the anticipated waitlist vendors will have 7 days after being notified of acceptance to submit payment and secure their booth space. If after 10 days, the LCSC has not received payment, the slot will be opened up to the next eligible vendor.

FACILITY SPECIFICATIONS:

Booth spaces will all be 10×10 and the vendor will be responsible for configuring that 10×10 space to their needs. Spaces will be assigned by the LCSC and will be spaced accordingly, trying to keep like vendors spaced appropriately to allow for maximum success for all vendors involved.

6 foot tables are available for rent. The cost is $10 per table for the entire event. Chairs are available for $2 each for the entire event. We have wall spaces, corner spaces and middles spaces. Requests will be honored on a first-come, first-serve basis. Wether you rent a table or bring your own, tables must be covered. 

SET-UP:

Friday, October 28, 2016 beginning at 7:30 am. All vendors should be set up and ready to go by no later than 9:45 am.

SHOW:

Friday and Saturday, October 28 & 29 from 10 am to 5 pm. You must remain set up and open during all hours of the show. THERE WILL BE NO EARLY BREAKDOWNS. ALL vendors are responsible for bringing in, taking out and attending your own booth without any assistance from the LCSC.

Deadline for refunds: October 21, 2016.

All vendors agree to allow LCSC to advertise vendor’s information including company name, location, website, product, and use owner’s names. This information is used exclusively for advertising purposes and may not be used in print, radio, and TV media. Any vendor that wishes any part of their information NOT to be used for advertising must do so in writing and include it with their application.
